I tried, I really did. I spent lots of time at Bahama killing one King Snail after another in hopes I'll get snail skins but alas, I'm not a fortunate one. *gloom* I ended up buying 1 SS a day at the cheapest price available at the market.

But with the snail skins being sold at less than 3M at the MM tonight, I grabbed the chance to get over with collecting 30 of those elusive items and just craft my serpent weapon already. ^^;;

Was an important night last night because it was my first colony war as a member of Lés Faction since I joined last Saturday (9/19). Hoped to get El Lago de Tres Hermanas but being occupied by Le Conquistador, they were definitely out of our league. So our FL decided to declare war against Myriad for the lulz. We had our own CW at Reboldeux Queen's Gate with the Team Arena participants as our audience. Of course, I just kept on dying and dying, hahaha. :D

Later on, Myriad decided to stop playing with us and went to Scorching Plateau to go against All Star. In the beginning, we were an audience but later on, we were also warring against All Star. Hey, I don't mind at all. The grounds of Scorching Plateau is so much cooler than in Queen's Gate, hahahhaha. XD

After that, FL announced that we'll go after Tetra Hill's colony which is currently occupied by Versace. This just keeps getting better and better (and so much funnier, haha). The place brought back memories as Presea once invited me to go as a resser with her for Le Conquistador at Tetra Hill also (they were against Eminence at that time).

Thanks to my factionmate, I've gotten curious to the Serpent series weapons and the fact that it is activated upon meeting Sierra (I've finished the Bahama quest long long ago, yet I didn't know this!). So after giving her the needed items, the Serpent recipe list came out. The AR 32 that comes with it is rather inviting and despite having two El Diablos now, I still opted to get the Serpent Revolver recipe. Because I love mah musk! (But I also love my elem, especially when dressing her up, hahaha).

I suppose my two Dragon Heart recipes that I luckily received from ABS are finally going to be used (but I didn't want to part with both of them instantly so I'm only making one now, haha). So after running around and gathering the needed items and spending so much vis on the way....

Now next is hunting the Snail Skins. 29 to go... *sob*

After that ABS disaster and getting so many crappy loots, hemonuses and I tried out the first of the three series of Hron's Treasure Trove. The loot drop is so much better now compared to the Grace and Fighter boxes last time. After getting a number of Ambrosias, Enhancement Boosters, Soul Crystals (do not want!), Mystery Powders and Enchantment Tranquilizers, we each got good stuff. My sister with the Milky Bob (I want this tooooo!!) and me with the Scratch hair (which I gave to her elem) and the new winter costume for elementalists. XD

In other news (what news?), I still don't have mah experts!!! X( I got really bored with leveling up ever since my HPS ran out about two weeks ago. Hauu..when will I get this over with?!

Wow, it's been exactly a month since I last updated my GE blog! *dusts it* My apologies, livejournal.

On the contrary, my GE life has been very active ever since the appearance of the Home Premium Service. I have committed into leveliung up the crafter characters to veteran and I have successfully done so! My new set of vets include Andre, Idge, M'Boma, Claude, Lorch, Adelina. And because I still had few days remaining before it expired, I managed to bring to veteran my Feng Ling, Edward and Catherine. A total of nine veterans in a month. I must say, it's a feat I'm proud to have achieved. Adik kasi. ^^;;

After that, I went to concentrate on getting my first set of experts. Originally, it was supposed to be my gemstone trio (lol) but because it was rather slow, I opted to replace my fafa-licious scout to shota Viki because of his summon abilities (and faster exp farm rate). I'm currently at Vet 7 (that's Level 106) and I'm pretty pooped. Bringing characters to expert level is no joke, lol. Despite that, hanging out at the second floor of Ancient Territory brought some interesting experiences. I have met new friends from other factions through squads, and of course, I had some bad encounters with troublesome players. But in overall, AT has been pretty decent despite being crowded all the time. Make a new AT please!!!

Meanwhile, over at the forums, they've got a new contest where players are asked to create a GE tarot card of their own featuring any of the 21 cards in the Major Arcana deck. Only one winner will be chosen and will get to win 5 zodiac chests and 5 zodiac boxes. I wish there'd be at least three winners, lol.

I thought about my entry for a while and considered making a "The Lovers" card (of course, featuring my lovely elem and one guy) but during the day, I remembered having the sparkly Star Knuckle and chose to feature Feng Ling as The Star. My venue was originally planned to be at the Swamp of Peril in Bahama where there's a pinkish lake but when I checked my warp points, I saw the Frozen Plain and remembered the beautiful Ryrin's Cave with the glowing Ryrin's heart in it. I went there instead and after taking about 20 different shots (lol), this became the finished product:

My GE family, Trianna, turns 1 today! Wee, I'm soooo happy! Thanks so much to Presea for introducing me to this wonderful game. Here's to more wacky GE days, hahahaha. Cheers!

About the Faction:
The Sanggre Faction was created last November 2008 by forum CC DeSanggria (Presea), initially to experience doing the faction quest. Avid fantaserye fans may find the name familiar from the GMA series, Encantadia, which Presea loves.

Sanggre had six members at that time. At semi-regular intervals, the faction members usually went together in helping each other out in quests as well as leveling up low-level characters. But as days went by, the members began to be inactive save for DeSanggria, its deputy leader Trianna and their common friend / latest recruit, Vacciuolo.

At the end of June 2009, DeSanggria made the decision to leave the faction and join a more active group that will help her grow more in her GE life. She didn't have the heart to disban the faction as it had also been a comfortable home and hangout to friends despite becoming inactive later on.

Now under me, Trianna, I have decided to make Sanggre a training ground for new players who are stumped on quests or need help in missions that are rather painstaking to take on your own (and is much more fun to do in squads) i.e., Claire's unknown ore quest, Viki's mamund search and many more. We'll also try our hands at key raids and mission stones in hopes that we'll get good loots. :)

Vets, experts or masters are also welcome to join but please take note that the Sanggre Faction does not participate in the colony war and high-level raids (for the time being). But if in time that the faction grows and the members continue to become active and the need for competition arises, the faction will participate in the coming wars, particularly to aid the Republican alliance in their endeavors.

For easy communication, the faction is for Filipinos only. So if you're looking for a nice and friendly bunch that will put you at a good start in your GE life, then come join us at the Sanggre Faction!

Yesterday, the prince of GE (lolz) asked me for a picture with him. That was supposed to be on the day Presea left the faction but I somehow forgot all about it. So now, we've got a pic together shot at the City of Auch. ^^

And this morning, my curiosity got me to try out creating a trump weapon. Since the red and blue arsene tickets were horrendously expensive at this time, I opted to create a magical weapon with the green ticket. And well, I love spoiling getting new stuff for my elem so... :D

I bought the green ticket from the market at 6M which I think is still expensive but considerably better than the last time (before, the lowest price was 18M) and definitely so much cheaper than the red and blue ones. After that, I got my Karja and the ticket was the second item she crafted (the first was Seeds of Rafflesia which I used to make a second Elite Dragon Coat).

Brought the ticket to the soldier in disguise at the Reboldeaux Queen's Gate and inserted it at the machine. Selected El Sol and out pops the bracelet!



My wallet (both real and virtual) cried but I can has a +5 El Sol Bracelet now. :D


I'm seriously considering leveling up the bracelet to +6 but probably not now because I'm running out of G-points, lol. And I still need to have enough for an FT/AT Premium Buff which is more than triple the price of the FT-solely buff. >.

When I started playing GE, I preferred to be more of a casual gamer and I was usually working things and quests out by myself or with my sister (who also prefers to work on her own) but when I got to interact with the GE addiction culprit uber-active Presea, my GE world got if anything, considerably wider.

Soon, I got to meet different kinds of people/players. Some are funny. Some are very enthusiastic. Some are just plain odd. But that's what makes the game interesting despite everyone playing anonymously and not seeing each other face to face.

In November 2008, Presea cooked up (perhaps out of boredom? hehe) the idea of creating a faction. In the beginning, I wasn't too keen on the idea of factions because as I said before, I prefer to play at my own pace and not be directed or required for the sake of a group. But since she doesn't intend to have the faction that active, I allowed her to recruit me and became the first member of the Sanggre faction.

Despite not being able to meet up personally and knowing each other only by our GE family names, the Sanggre faction did have a few wacky moments. We had a single time when everyone (five members! lol) was online and we decided to have an impromptu photoshoot at Bahia. We also tried our hand at key raids just to get our hands on a constellation symbol. Alas, we never did get one, poor us.

But now, our beloved leadah decided to expand her GE horizons and join a more active faction for her to have experiences which she didn't have in the years she had played (hus, expert ka lang eh, bleeeeh! joke..hehehe). But due to sentimental value's sake (naks, *sniff*), Presea did not disban the Sanggre faction and instead passed the blue salbabida flagship to me.

Now I really don't know what to do. Should I just leave those blue rings as display and just wait til Presea decides to come back or would I attempt to revive the group and recruit game-active players? Frankly, I'm not up to joining the weekly wars but perhaps it's alright for doing squadable quests or helping each other out with rare drops and stuff. Right now, I'm pretty clueless, lol. But eventually, I'll probably do something. :D

Lately, I said that I have been leveling up crafters in my family. So far, I've brought Idge and Andre to level 90 while Claude and M'Boma just reached level 80 today. Perhaps this could be of help in the faction in the future, who knows? :) After 90, I'll collect all of them and bring them to Ancient Territory, but that will be in a long time because I've still got about 20 days from my FT Premium Buff. ^^;; Ah well, I'll probably level up another set of crafters after this. Maybe Lorch and Adelina. :P

In other news, my GE family will be celebrating its first birthday on July 21! I'm so happy, and excited! XD I wonder if I can cook up a little game with in-game prizes at stake? hehehe. :D

It's nice to see Asian-inspired costumes in GE nowadays setting aside the fact that its Baroque era through and through. Of course, a change is always welcome. :D
